Hello All

I'm thinking about a new tournament set with the following parameters:

-8 players (9 couldn't hurt but won't happen)
-200BB stacks without a dreaded 100% BB jump in the first two levels
-Smaller stacks ~100BB with rebuys
-300 Chips (price)
-Chips bought in quantities of 25.

Perhaps a big ask but I've been browsing the forums and have come up with the following solution:

T500 x50
T1000 x100
T5000 x100
T25000 x50

Starting stacks T200,000 - 6/12/12/5 for a proper tourney.

L1 - 500/1000
L2 - 500/1500
etc

The 4 spare each of T1000 and T5000 colour up the T500s. 4 T25k colour up the T1000s.

Stacks can drop to T100k leaving 9 rebuys/addons available with the spare T25k chips for a Rebuy Turbo.

Can anyone see any issues?
I'm also open to T25 or T100 bases but can't seem to fit a set with those parameters.
T500 is also doing it for novelty "high roller" value for me too.

I run my 8 player T5 with 300 chips 80/80/80/60 starting stacks 10/10/7/3. But when purchasing in sets of 25 that doesn’t work. What you have seems good to me. The color ups fit perfectly. You could also eventually maybe pick up some 100k plaques when the budget allows for it. Then you’d be able to do your 200k with rebuys.

Love the idea of adding plaques in the future

Yeah I love the idea of plaques or oversized chips coming into play for later in the tournament and not part of the initial starting stack. My t5 usually runs smoothly with just 500s as the big chip but I do have some special oversized 1ks that I break out when necessary.
