100 BB or 120BB if it makes the opening stacks easier to count out. Quickest way to destroy a regular home cash game is to raise the buy ins to much.

One thing I’m considering is actually to increase the initial buy in and then cap the size of rebuys.

I will never cap the number of rebuys since I view that as an individual decision. How much someone is in the game for isn’t my place to judge. Capped buy ins are tournaments.

Definitely really needed some $1ks at the time lol. Was sweating bullets when I was on my last barrel of $500s! Good thing the game broke at 4am or I would have been in trouble

Capping rebuys can be for reasons beyond controlling finances. It can because the host does not want to be responsible for more money

I stopped match the stack a few months ago when my $50k bank was running perilously thin on a 2/5 game after two people rebought for $6k and most others added on at least 2k more to try and catch the player on a super heater.

PCFers will criticise me on this, but I do electronic transfers on anything over the thousand. I think cash is great if we're playing 50c/50c or $1/$1 which is the bulk of most games here. Anything bigger, definitely a no go for me.
