CDI 98 vs 05, how to tell (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did a search and the answers seem vague. How to tell the difference between the 98's and 05's.
I went to the chip database but that is also not specific. Yes it shows the different chips but doesn't definitively say when they were issued.
Can anyone say what the differences are? Or, point me to an information source?

I am no expert, but I am pretty sure the 98's are on the THC mold and the 05's are on the "Paulson" mold.
