Not Mine 600ct Birdcage Chip Case (1 Viewer)

Any idea how these compare to the PGI cages? I just bought a pair from them and the total ran about 93 bucks with shipping. Looks like these might be in the same ballpark but I always get nervous buying things on Fleabay.

Thanks for moving the thread to appropriate forum :)

Just purchased one for myself :)

Cheapest I found and I loved them
I dunno about cheapest ... with shipping they work out to about $77 each. With PCF pricing the ones from PGI run about $47 each with shipping. Having just gotten a set in I can see why people say it's best to order these in even quantities.

Would you mind posting a link, please? I'm not sure what you're talking about.
There's not a link, unfortunately, because the Palm Gaming website only shows the 1,000 count. Email Joe at PGI and let him know you're a PCFer interested in the 600 count birdcages and he'll work something out.

If you go to their website (Google casino 4 you) they're a few bucks cheaper and combined shipping is like $15 for two cages, I paid <$80 for two 600ct cages shipped yesterday. Haven't seen them to speak to the quality yet.

Rather order from gamblers general store, fast shipping and good customer service. PGI....well not so much, just my 2c though

They look just like the ones I have. The cage seems fine. Racks are on the cheaper end.

I really like the look of those cages. I went with the Brybelly 200 chip trays for ~$4.50 each because I dont need to transport my chips, they were cheap, and I can split up my trays for various levels of cash games ($25 buy in vs $50 buy in), and keep my tourney and cash sets separate.

Cant beat the presentation of a cage though! I may get one at some point if I ever transport my chips.

That's a 1000 chip cage though?? Those are plentiful, it's the 600 chip cage that was harder to find AFAIK

Well for me, more for less is more. I use my carriers for storing plaques, buttons and cards using the old upside-down tray trick. I cant think of any reason why anyone would spend 70+ for a 600 carrier when you can get the 1000 for 46. We ALL know no chip set stops at 600 anyways...:p

Note that the carriers from SPS include chip trays. The carrier in the Amazon link does not. To compare prices, you have to add the cost of the trays as well.

Now that I'm getting into CPCs all else being equal I'd rather buy the racks separately that way I know they fit correctly. I've got a nice pile of racks that are sloppy with clay chips and tight with the composites. :(

Just got mine in the mail yesterday. These are great birdcages. First one I've had like this.

Me too! The cage is great, the chip trays suck for Paulsons... Pics!

Difference between a good rack and the cheap ones with the case:

Overall very pleased with the cage. Now on the hunt for a bunch of quality chip racks!
