Here's a set I'd love to put together sometime. Was going to go with yellow colors for the Wolf Man (representing the full moon, plus it matches with the typical progression to a 1K chip) but my wife suggested I try out the chocolate colors and those seemed to look better.

LATEST REVISION

Thanks to the input of everyone, especially BGinGA, here is the version I'm happiest with:

Mummy = $1
Dracula = $5
Creature From The Black Lagoon = $25
Frankenstein = $100
Bride of Frankenstein = $500
The Wolfman = $1,000
Dealer Button - Full moon? Image of all the monsters together?
Seating Chips - Invisible Man?

OLD STUFF SHOWING REVISION HISTORY

Obviously:

$1 = Mummy white/grey
$5 = Dracula red
$25 = Frankensteins Monster green
$100 = Creature From The Black Lagoon black
$500 = Bride of Frankenstein purple
$1,000 = The Wolf Man chocolate

A second revision of the 1/2 pie with edgespots added

I think I prefer the 1/2 without edge spots, here's a revision with the mummy chip having a gray instead of bright white, plus a version showing the wolfman with yellow representing the full moon (although I still think I prefer the chocolate version)

Here's a version with the scroll mold, note that the yellow 1K chip is meant to be oversized for the wolfman/moon theme, it just doesn't appear in the tool any larger than the other chips.

I was expecting to see Sully from Monsters Inc lol.

Cool idea, looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

I kind of like it. The mummy/quarter chip kicks ass. Follow ups are the creature from the Black Lagoon and the Bride of Frankenstein. The only one I'm not feeling is Frankenstein/$25.00 chip. Just doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the chips. Maybe if "Frankenstein" had more green in his facial features to flow with the green chip more?

Not necessarily this, but in this area.

I'm reminded again of my 'Monster Stakes' set idea. That was ridiculous and involved UV ink. Surprising never got off the ground!

Yeah, the pics I chose were just placeholders, I'd need to have them customized. The creature from the black lagoon is green as well as Frankenstein's monster, but I figured since it's from the Black lagoon I could stick it on the hundo chip.

The mummy is meant to be a $1 chip, not a quarter.

gotcha. Overall I like the potential here.

These would make a sweet qpie set also.

The two red together may not blend well. You could do man red and maroon.

Dual-shade coloring works wonderfully well with quarter-pies, since the second color never makes the chip get confused as something else.

Only thing lacking is a Zombie $5000 (or quarter).

I think the set is based around the Universal Studios monsters, which doesn't include a zombie.

The Phantom of the Opera and The Invisible Man are sometimes included in the Universal list iirc. But not if Anthony's going with non-human monstahz?

Cool set idea

Yeah, not really a fan of having phantom of the opera or invisible man in the mix. Plus I remember when I only had 300 Paulson Le Noire (100/500/1K) I was able to run a single table tourney without any issues. So with this set I'd have 25/100/500/1K which would suffice for my needs.

I generally don't like to host multiple table events (I have done it in the past) because:

1. It's a lot more work as the host

2. It's difficult for everyone to connect and interact with everyone else because people are separated.

Here's another version (added to the OP) with the 1/2 pie featuring edge spots and replacing the bright white color to gray.

H mold makes sense. The scroll mold kind of hollers for a design like this "old scrolls".

Really cool idea. Chips look cool, I think I like the half pie without edge spots as opposed to the one with.

I agree, here's another revision with the yellow version of the wolfman chip to represent the full moon. Although I think I still prefer the chocolate for that chip. Also using gray instead of bright white for part of the mummy chip, not sure on which one I prefer though.

The bright white is very "clean" looking in RL. The White/Grey looks like a mummy to me, and is the clear winner in the entire set.

I'm not sure the brown is a clear winner. I kind of like the yellow. What about a solid yellow and not having a half for that chip? Breaks the consistency but may look more like a moon?
Just a thought. Love the mummy

If I were to go with a complete solid yellow for the wolfman chip it would probably make more sense to make that 1K chip oversized in the set, to help make some sense as to why it's not following the same pattern of all the other chips.
