UPDATE! Please visit the order thread if you are interested the now completed design of the Atlantic Club hot stamp tourney set!

As you all know David Spragg announced that Hot Stamping is now officially a go at CPC. That being said there has been a bunch of interest in producing a Hot Stamp Tournament chip set. @kmccormick100 started a thread with a design and there has been many posts with interest in having a set created.
I have volunteered to help get this started so here is a first post to help us get started and in the right direction for a finished product.
We will iron out cost and everything later in a GB Thread once we can all come to an agreed upon product for production. This is the hardest thing to do when you have so many ideas floating around out there. So here goes the next step to fruition.

1. Please state your interest in this thread. Please be honest because the final amount will dictate if we go to production or not. Quantity will suffice for now which will give everyone time to figure out what breakdown they would be interested in ordering.
2. I am assuming we will go with the usual Touney denoms T25, T100, T500, T1000 and T5000, We can do a T25000 if enough want that as well.
3. If you are interested in participating please cast your vote in the name survey. You can cast a vote for your top three. I am going to put some names in the survey but some names may not make the first list. If you really feel strongly about the name you submitted please let me know and I will add it. I say we keep the survey open for at least a week to see what gets most of the votes and hopefully narrow them down to the top three. Yes,you can vote for up to three names. You can also recommend names.
I am posting the choices from what has been posted and assuming we are using something similar to the Grand cardroom chips. That being said it appears that only about 15 letter will work. (If I am incorrect please let me know)
4 Once we agree upon a name/design we will try to see what colors we should go with. Standard tourney colors or something different.

Or major obstacles will be name/design and Colors.

Remember I am only acting as a facilitator at this time so Please bear with me. Also If I leave someones input out please know it is not intentional!!!

We have a bunch of work ahead of us and our goal is 15,000+ chips!

Let's get to work and come up with a great name/design!

Yeah, would prob buy a cash set as well. Could we get a cash set with simple spots and keep tourney solid??? I want the best of both worlds.

If you wanted denoms with currency symbols that would have to be a completely different set of dies and a completely different group buy.

@David Spragg had posted that it really does not have to be 15000 for the group buy We can order any number but could change pricing and cost of dies.

JohnnyCnote's Capri's should be added to the above list...

I would prefer to not use the name of any real casino (whether past or present). Some chips were made with Havana Capri on them some years ago and someone ended up selling them on in the collectors market as genuine rare Cuban chips.

You can vote for up to three names

Also please state in a post how many chips you would be interested in. We are just trying to get an idea of interest so this is not binding.

Voted for Pacific (Weeeeeest siiyyeeedeee!!) and Forum.

The plus for The Forum is I really liked the original design idea like @stocky said, but also it would obviously be cool to call it The Forum as a nod to, well you know, this forum. A group buy that originated on a forum where forum members are the ones that have the set that is called "The Forum"?? Cool in my book!!

Take that all with a grain of salt though, at this point I am not going to commit to any because I don't want to artificially inflate the number. That being said, I can't see myself not ordering some sort of set of these, just don't know what yet....

Chip colors and basic text layout in OP all look good to me. Just the name remains...Pacific!

As long as the total quantity is 'decent' we should be able to do them for around $1.10 average including 60% dayglo's and stamping.
We would be eating the die cost and most of the setup.
A quick calculation says we could probably cover that with 8000 solids.

In for at least 600 chips, T25-T5k.

My preference is for dayglo also. The colours in the OP are good - loving me some dayglo tiger and peacock, although not so sure about saturn. But, that is a bit further down the line.

I'm with toby on waterworld, where's that from?!

I like the idea of Royal Cardroom - probably in for a small set only though - 300-500 chip range.

I'd be in for around 600. I am fine with dayglo since you guys don't seem to think the weight is an issue therefor no problem with me.

In a perfect world I'd be in for 1,000... realistically my order will probably be around 650.

Royal Cardroom FTW!!!

Tip... since you're taking order interest here I suggest you crosspost over in the Group Buy forum, to at least notify people. I only happened to stumble upon this whole thing, as I rarely ever check in on mock-ups. But I am email subscribed to group buys.

Interested but no commitment from at this time. Hopefully that changes.

Bummer, but I get it. How about HAVANA ROOM?

Interested in 400-600 but will depend a lot on the design, looking for something a little different (i.e. no grand cardroom, royal cardroom, private cardroom, etc.).
