Hi All

Pretty much ready to place my order for my first custom set. Inspiration comes from 'vintage' London casino sets and the classic Binions colours.
The chips are the Binions design with a custom logo, the breakdown will be as follows for 10p/10p or 10p/20p Cash NHLE.

100x 10p
200x 50p
100 x £2

I love the clean look of solid fracs and the 2 tab edge spot really works for the £2 for me. We usually play 100bb so most of the night only the fracs will be in play which is also nice and clean for a cash set in my opinion.

The image is just a low-res mockup of the watermarked Binions with the custom label on top. Web Molds have seperate physical inlays.

Nothing wrong with the design. You like it and that's the most important point.

I would add more £2 chips and probably an additional denom (£5 or £10).

I like the simplistic design but agree with @BillyBluff about a potential dirty stack issue

The pink and brown chips are very clearly different irl so I think that will be fine. It's obviously a very minimalist look but that's what I like. I can get behind more edge spots and denoms for a tourney set but I like the idea of a very simple cash set. I saw some images of ivory saloon chips from the 19th century and just loved how universal they looked.

The set gives a bank of 300bb per player 9 handed. We never approach anything like this in our game so I think we'll be covered.

I imagine a 10p/20p night would only draw about 6 players too and £10 would play if we ever ran out of chips.

Lastly I'm unsure how I would change the chip colours if desired and what the cost would be. Pretty happy with the binion colours and I have samples. My only negative would be they sort of look a bit washed out on the cards mold, unsure how this would translate on web

Alternatively I could lose the pink and promote the white to 50p; perhaps the two tab could represent half a pound £. The third colour would rarely see play and the white is my favourite so this kind of makes more sense. The Blue is my next favourite from the binions set and makes for a nice simple spot progession

I can see the argument that the brown and pinks could create dirty stacks especially as they're likely to be the only two chips in play for most of the night.

The 2 looks to be centered with the denomination and symbol, and the others are centered with the denomination alone?

A hack job of an edit but how about this?
Dirty stack dangerzone or is the black enough to keep things clear?

Why 10p, 50p, £2? I don't see many in the UK liking those denoms?

Definite dirty stack dangerzone on the latest iteration too...

Also, do you want some free racks for these? https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/free-racks-for-a-uk-chipper-just-pay-shipping.118170/
I like that they are all UK coins, I'm also attracted to equal SB/bb, I also like that I can buyin and rebuy most of the evening with just two denoms. For a tourney set I'd go for much more variety but for cash I like the simplicity of just representing the money in play.

I've had a couple more ideas. First is to edit the Binions black chip to have the edge spots of my other two demons.

Something like this.

Secondly is to stay simple and change the edge spots to grey on the black chip with maybe 3 or 4 pips.

I feel like the multi edge spots of the first option might be too ornate for my simple set but the chip will definitely stand out.
The grey has a touch of Rounders about it whilst still fitting the set.
Any thoughts?
