Hi, I'm new to the forum and could use some help identifying this set I picked up at a garage sale. Any help is greatly appreciated. There's a case full of $5 and $25 chips with a Planet Hollywood plaque near the handle, plus two bags of extra $25 chips not shown. They say NCV but don't match any souvenir chips I can find so wondering if they were taken from a tournament? The labels seems glued on to the chips because you can pull them off pretty easily (did it accidentally on one). Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but this could have been some promotional or souvenir type of set that they might have sold in their gift shop.
These plastic 8-stripe chips are used quite often as advertising gimmicks as alternatives to business cards. Some of them are quite heavy around 14g due to a metallic slug inside.

I agree with above…..they wouldn’t be used in a tourney because they have $ sign on them. My guess is a gift shop sale.
