Here are my custom labeled casino Paulsons. Labeled a sample set. I couldn't decide if I liked the black background or the white background better, so I went with BOTH. One on each side of a chip. Will post more pics as I progress as well as a couple of other "goodies". BIG Thanks to Chris @ Gear Labels (where's the rest of them? LOL).

"add ons"

Built this clock and installed LED's to light the artwork. Also: "Been there, done that, GOT THE T-SHIRT"!

A Little Background

Ok, Easy Money by Billy Joel is my favorite "gambling" song. So I originally wanted to go with the theme: "EA$Y MONEY" POKER CLUB. I ran my label idea here and it didn't go over very big, but I did get a couple of helpful suggestions. I went back into the tank and thought about it. I am of Italian heritage, as are a few of my regular players.. they are my Paisanos. So that's how the idea was born. Decided to just use a design that popped in my head (probably based on logos I've seen in my life) and the use of Italian flag colors - green, white, red. I used denoms with decimal points as these will have to double as my cash and tourney set. I decided it was easier to just drop the decimal point for tourneys. I used a small decimal point and it's there, but not too big. That's about it. Then of course, I had to accessorize. I'll have to post pics of my dealer buttons but I've already posted the clock (custom made by ME) and the shirt.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Dealer Buttons

Here are the dealer buttons. Of course, I had to have 2 sided buttons as well (white/black).

You're not messing around :). Looks like a nice custom set coming along with the Italian flag colors and Paisano theme. I'll be looking for the p0rn when you get the rest of them labeled.

Really really cool. Multicolored lettering on multicolored chips makes me happy. What are the pink chips? They don't look familiar.

Wait, you're Italian AND you like Billy Joel? I wouldn't go prying too far into the recent threads if I were you - fair warning. especially the "I hate Billy Joel" thread or the "Hard Candy Hold'em" thread. Come to think of it, EVERYONE should avoid that thread - but especially those of Italian heritage. ;)

What are the pink chips?

I hope KingZilla doesn't mind if I respond: Those are Colorado Visitors Bureau, hot stamped CVB/$2. I'm still looking for an additional 15 of those in mint condition btw!

I like them as well. I know what the gray and red were... but I am having difficulty placing the blue, pink, and yellow. Surely the yellow is not Casablanca $1.

They're looking really good! And I'm nearly always a fan of two-sided chips.

I always appreciate when people extend a theme beyond just the chips; very nice progress. I'm sure your Paisanos - Italian and otherwise - will appreciate it!

If I'm not mistaken:

blue - Paris $1
yellow - Emerald Princess $2.50
red - Casablanca $5
gray - Casablanca $100

I don't recall ever seeing those pink CVB chips before. Got any pics, Chaos?

Excellent read except the blue chips are Discovery Cruise $1's.

You are correct, Sir! I think there are still some listed for sale on the other site but they might not be MINT.

I got all the remaining 85 mint ones a few minutes after you bought yours but the other 15 to complete the rack were used. The difference is huge though, that's why I wanted an additional 15 mint ones... Great set KZ! It turned out absolutely great!

I'll take some pics this afternoon Dave. They were all punched though, so labeling is required if someone minds the holes...

I filled all the drill holes on these before labeling. I was too OCD to just label over the holes. :o

How did you do it?!?!?! Mine will be relabeled as well and my original plan was just to go with a laminated label and call it a day...

Went to Michael's (where they sell those shadow box chip displays) and bought some clay that air dries. Yep, filled the holes and it was labor intensive, but it worked. It did not cause the chips to weigh in off balance, either. The stuff is very light. I wish I could remember the brand name, but I threw the wrapper away. It's white in color and you can find it with the other modeling clays there at Michael's. I'm sure you could find it at any craft/hobby type store as well.
Good Luck.

Again, I give a BIG thanks to Chris @ Gear labels (see his forum here at PCF). I also wanted to mention that my dealer buttons were inexpensive as I had Chris print the labels and I applied them to the standard 2" white plastic dealer buttons that abound everywhere. It beat the cost of having ceramic buttons printed up. If I get some cash to burn, I'll consider doing that in the future, but for now this is an option I'd highly recommend.
Thanks again to all who have been complimentary about my "project". Criticism is welcome as well, but it's a little to late for me to change things.. :)

Love them. Although I think it's sacrilege to label over those Yellow chips

Wait until you see what I'm labeling as my $100 chip... Not just sacrilege, downright HERESY!

(Eddie's Fabulous 50's). I hope to get pics up in the next 2 weeks.

I dig the new design. Looks like you could use them as tourney chips too with the decimal being small and the cents being large. It works. <3 black labels.

And now... the hat. This is just the proof. Design will be embroidered. Chip pics coming soon.

Couple of picture updates now that the set is in play. I only have four $100's to be used "just in case" and will only be used for cash games - no decimal point needed on them.
