I created this set to save wear and tear on my BCC hot stamps.
The set is 400 chips (100/120/180) with 40 chip (25K) starting stacks. All chips will be on the table at all times – no color-ups – the 100s will become antes at level ten.
I got samples of every China clay offered through Apache and forum member TexRex was kind enough to share his critique of the Majestics, CPS, and Milano Chinas. Thanks Rex!
I placed the order with Apache for the Milanos and tracked them from Indiana to Washington while working on the label design. Just before the chips arrived I had the design completed and sent it off to Gear.
This past Saturday through the cooperative efforts of Canada Post and the USPS the labels arrived! …and they were on the chips within hours.
Gear was great to work with. Excellent communication before, during, and after the sale and the quality of his work is also excellent.
Enough words (and I just edited out a bunch), here is the story in pictures:
The draft:
The chips arrive:
The labels are here!
It was especially cool to look at this sheet of labels after having read Gear's thread on how the labels are printed, cured, laminated and then the superfluous lamination removed. Gives a whole new level of appreciation for the skill and expertise that is behind the product.
No time is wasted applying the labels...
Thanks Gear, great job!
