Anything "Rat Rod" (mixed casino chips of the same basic colors throw together to make a chip set. I was working on something similar many years ago with Trump AC chips

That picture is about 5 years old now...

I would say those are pretty unique or @Irish Hand made "Taste The Rainbow" set, which was fabulously put together and love the concept!

This is probably my most unusual set because of the chip sizes. 43mm, 47mm, and 50mm of pure leaded goodness.

I think this summarizes my attitude toward unusual chip sets.
(Though I’m fine with different size chips, and I bet I could tolerate and octagon chip)

I have this unique playable set from the National Casino in Calgary. I find them unique because of the non-standard colors, and the mix of manufacturers. Paulson 50¢ and $25 chips. C&J $1's and $5's. I only have a dozen 50¢ chips, so I use the dark blue starbursts as quarters. I believe there is another playable set or two out there somewhere, but they don't get much attention.
