Preorder CHIPS* New SUN Mold*, WEB Mold, GREEK Mold *APRIL 2025* (70 Viewers)

I already made a version of the inlay a while back, just popped it on the web mold:

And there is also the tournament edition that is similar, and you can mix labels from the tournament set on the cash base chips:

the cash label with the denom moved into the trees like tournament label would leave plenty of room above for a big "Mirage" script logo.

Okay, apparently I cannot figure out how to multi-quote on this forum. lol Tried to edit, but I exceeded the timeframe, and I do not know how to delete a post (if it's possible). Apologies for the double post!

@Colquhoun @dizzyChipper

I like the white mirage labels for sure. I haven't seen the ones with the big trees before. I really wish there was a master thread of all available designs (I have not been able to find it if there is).

I like the big trees design, but I much prefer the other elegant Mirage text font than the blocky text above. My personal preference as it just looks much cleaner and less obtrusive. I also definitely prefer the denominations being outside of the trees as well.

Is there anyway we can get a mockup of the big trees with the other Mirage logo? I also like the idea of the sun mold on the Mirage to coincide with the theme.

Same about big trees, Mirage script and denom outside of trees. I just think the denom in trees give more space for that Mirage script but whoever has the art can play with it.

Panda KGB - Web Mold - 39mm

$0.25 - 200
$1 - 200
$5 - 200
$25 - 350
$100 - 350
$500 - 200
$1k - 275
$5k - 150
$25k - 25

For the 25k chips, I would like to use the normal Panda KGB label, but the blanks used for the 25k chips from the Grand Casino set (didn't see a code for this one on the blanks list). Rough mockup would look like this:

I'm trying to get a 25K chip that's close in color to the Aurora Star clays, and I'm trying to make sure I nail the blue. Am I right that these (from Justin's galleries) are different blues? (To my eye the first two are the same blue, but perhaps different red)

The following side-by-side image makes me think that the one on the right is a bit darker than the original Aurora Stars, and I'm not sure whether the other two might be closer to the mark:

Anyone have any additional insight?

that's just a screenshot of the art...if you want them, place the order with Justin and I'll provide the artwork to him
Can you try to do big tree mirage, mirage script and denoms. I tried to just do a mock up today in Canva and failed.

Are any of these molds smooth to the touch or do they all have texture (not the pattern texture - I understand that the lines of the web are recessed, but the face of the chip itself)?

Are all of the molds other than no mold recessed for labels?

I had the same question based on the close up pictures since they look like they have a distinct texture to them. Just got my samples and can say the texture is much smoother than you’d think. Closer to frosted glass, if anything. Nothing that “catches” or interlocks or keeps them from sliding, if that’s what you’re worried about. You’ve also got plenty of time to grab some samples (they ship immediately) before this group order closes!

You shouldn't wait much more time if you plan to order samples. USPS has been somewhat dysfunctional lately and it took my samples 9 days to get from TX to MI.

Order Request:

Vegas Poker Series - 39mm, Web Mold, T25-base Tournament, 500 chips total:

Perhaps others are interested in this artwork/set style to help split the cost of the label art!

Hoping other members are interested in Vegas Poker Series - would love to see split art pricing with this group buy!

The frosted glass feel is exactly what I'm hesitant about. Some textures are nightmares of sensations for me. I'm yet to find a ceramic sample that doesn't make me cringe when I touch it. So I'm torn between trying these (which I know are textured) or trying BR Pro's (which are advertised as smooth) and if I spend more than about $10 on it, I'm going to cascade down the rabbit hole of designing a new chipset for myself if I like either of them  :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:

Now you understand why clay is so overwhelmingly popular vs other materials.

Fixed that for you :)
Yeaaah the cost does make a bit of a difference, but I don't think there's any way to accomplish the designs I have in mind on clays. They would even be a challenge on ceramics. And good design is always more important than money.

So here's my dilemma I'm hoping for some advice with -

After diving down the rabbit hole a fair bit, I've unsurprisingly decided I love the Aurora Star tournament coloring, which leads me to want to pull the trigger on a card mold, Aurora Star tourney look-alike set for this group buy. However, I'm also mindful of how much better folks seem to think the hybrids are compared to the no- or card-mold Tinas, esp. with regard to spinners, etc. I'm trying to get my hands on a sample to see if this is going to bug me or not, but in the meantime I'm working on some alternatives that preserve the same colors as the AS set, but that use the web mold. (I know the Starnite set does this already, but I don't particularly like the label design. What do folks think between these options? (I'm already getting some Panda KGBs as a cash set, to the extent it matters, so that's why I gravitated toward that label for a white option, but honestly I'd be open to any good ideas folks have seen ...)

@justincarothers is there a fee for customizing the edge spots on an existing design? (e.g. I’m interested in getting a KGB Panda set and love the label/colors, but would like to tinker with a different edge spot progression for the 5c to $5 chips).

You will have to have your own artwork for the new chips

Just want to confirm I’m not remembering wrong, but wasn't there a $25 label made for the Lunar Landing using the mint green T25? If so, I got my order ready

I am also thinking about Sunset Beach, but would do the cash labels. I think those are different art fees, but not 100% sure.

Thanks Justin! I created a file on Poker Chip Design tool (attached image has placeholder labels just to show denominations). Would this be sufficient info or does it have to be in a different format / more detailed? I saw that others have worked directly with designers on PCF - hoping to skip that step.
