I live in a loft with not a lot of closet space so I wanted a table that was easy to store and could be set up by one person. I have never built a table before so went at it with a friend of mine. Satisfied enough with the outcome but learned a lot about what could have been done better.
There was very little information out there on what to do. Table straps to a cheap fold up table and has two halves (hence the split in the rail). To ensure a smooth, single playing surface the playing surface drops into the two halves (not as snug as I would like, but close enough). The rail is slightly raised about the level of the surface so that cup holders slide between the rail and the surface.
Kudos to
@T_Chan for the awesome printed surface. Some of the recommendations on here helped me decide to go with him and I'm glad I did. Really nice felt.
I always sit in the #3 position (middle of the table) to ensure play moves quickly, to manage the chips and to manage the bank. the #3 position has an endless knot and the other nine positions have a star printed onto the felt.
Table can seat 11 easily.
