This tutorial will show you how to construct your own poker table pedestals.
In order to do so, you must have the proper equipment and woodworking skills. The process is long and somewhat painstaking, but the end results will override any initial reservations you may have. I will present the process in four separate steps, as each step is somewhat complicated, time consuming and requires a lot of patience on your part.
I'll create a separate Q & A thread for any questions and answers, as I prefer not to add onto the construction thread with any back-and-forth discussion and make it more difficult to follow.
Your input is greatly appreciated, as I have only done this once and by no means know everything there is to know about the construction process. I created the tutorial after I constructed my own pedestals, so there are few actual photographs of a build in progress.
These pedestals are hollow core, which means they are formed by assembling 6 or 8 sections together to form a kind of tube, which is then formed to the builder's desired shape and attached with legs.
