1st the name. When we started to play Poker we had a green clay frog with a wide open mouth and all the buy-ins went into the frog's mouth. So I came up with the 'Hungry Frog Card Club'.
2nd the chips. Cause I'm from Germany, and shipping and customs is quite expensive, I thought of an option to safe a few bucks for more individual chips and I came with the idea of buying a hot stamping machine and stamp my chips by my own. So I did.
The chips colors and most spots are initially inspired by the one and only tourney set of the entire world: the striped Casino Aztar's. The Stamps artwork also.
Within the years I added a few more special chips. I'm totally proud of being the first who was able to order the 6DSA18 spots. I have used at the T5K chips AND the 6A18. I have used at the T25 2nd edition (thanks to Jim Blanchard of making this happen).
At the end I had the following values: T5, T25 (1st and 2nd edition), T100, T500, T1000, T2500, T5000, T10000 and T25000
