I'm in a need for 10-12 Cardboard chip boxes, either model is fine by me.
No need to be new, but need to be in good shape.
Not sure how much would it cost to ship em to Finland, but should not be much I reckon.
Thanks

Those come free when you buy 10-12 racks of chips :)

Seriously though, I have a bunch and would be happy to send you some. I'm not sure how best to ship them -- cheap means flat, which might be hard to do without wrecking these?

I'll see if I can find a suitable cardboard box to hold them, unflattened, which would be bulky, but not very heavy.

FYI - The large flat rate boxes from USPS hold 12 assembled boxes so you don't wreck them trying to get them flat. I just ordered 12 from GOCC and the shipping worked out great.

I was just asking GOCC about these the other day. They have them for $1 each. I like these better than the paulson boxes and the boxes with no dividers that PGI ships in. I only have the PGI boxes and I'm sure you don't want that type.

Yeah....these were very nice. $1 each and I think it was $12 to ship, so realistically $2 each delivered. Not too bad when they come ready to load chips into.

those almost look better to store chips in than racks......I may have to order some for my chips as I have the racks in a Pelican case (surrounded by foam)

Think CPC uses the same style too.

Thanks Guys. I'll see if Gear finds a way to ship 'em. If not, I'll contact to David.
Shipping overseas might become very costly/box if any company ships them.

GEAR: If you can flatten them without tearing them apart, I don't mind rebuilding them at my end.
That way it might be cheaper to ship em. In any case, let me know. Thanks.

It occurs to me that the CPC/ASM style boxes can be flattened without damage (since they're folded, not glued, for assembly in the first place) so I'll check to see how many of those I have and how best to wrap & ship. Stay tuned...

Awesome. Will do so. And if you have enough, LMK how much to paypal you w/ shipping to Finland. Thanks.

OK, I couldn't find a good way to package these up once unfolded, so I left them as-is. I fit 13 into the bottom half of a paper box (i.e. 11 x 17) and cut off the top half. That's about 1.1 kg, 45 x 30 x 10 cm, which will cost about $20 USD to ship to Finland from Canada ... unfortunately that's by surface mail (ugh, slow.)

If you have a better option, take it, and I'm not offended. But if you can wait a month or two for them to arrive, let me know and I'll send 'em off. :)

Thanks Gear, but I will get my Colony Clubs within a month from David. I think I will email him. Lars had some boxes, but not enough.

You might ask David if you can purchase extra boxes and have them shipped with your chip order. I bought a bunch from ASM-ME a few years ago. I like to ship chips in them because these boxes are sturdier than the the white Paulson/BCC boxes and I think they provide additional protection to their precious contents.

Agreed!!! The only downside is that I couldn't fit a lone box in a small USPS FRB. The white Paulson boxes need a bit of convincing to fit but the ASM boxes were a no go.

Ran into this exact problem this morning! I knew the white Paulson ones did, but I didn't think about the fact that the flip-top boxes are taller. Oh well, an extra $0.50 in postage wasn't going to break me :)

That's my plan.
