With all the talk about leaded vs unleaded chips, I thought I'd share a pic. I'm not 100% sure it was originally a poker chip, but I'm sure it was some kind of gaming token, made from an old round ball. I've been told that it takes about 100 years for lead to develop that white patina. I found it while metal detecting Camp Radziminski several years ago. CPC Rounders for scale.

Musket ball flattened to make a marker. They did dice too, lots of boredom on the frontier battlefield.
