Wow. Was only 12 months ago and those were going for about a buck a chip. Never should have sold those. They are pretty sweet.

The last few racks of $1 PCA secondaries that sold on eBay recently were in the $100-150/rack range. These are a bit overpriced IMO.

He's overpriced imo on everything. Like Bentax said 4 or 5 racks of PCA 1's sold on eBay a month ago for 100-150. I sold 2 racks of Terrible's .50's like 6 months ago (foolishly) for 140 a rack :/. But hey prices have been crazy lately so who knows

"Market Price" forgo your utility in $225 - and then the chips are yours. $225 is different for us in Boston, Somerset, Seattle, LA, Delaware :) Best of luck with sale.

It isn't a "market price" until a willing buyer pays the price. It is a good test for what the market price actually is except that it will be a "best offer accepted" result most likely - so all we will know is the market price is less than $2.25 / chip.

Do you mean the same keysersoze4242 who posted on PCF on Dec. 19 about acquiring PCA secondaries: "I won the 200 and 100 auctions earlier this week for an average of $107 per rack and I'm very happy."?

I like an open, honest marketplace. That's why I keep photos of the return address of everything I buy on eBay, and frequently include the seller's name in his feedback.

Skeeter: Hey Pltrgyst! We don't take kindly to your types around here.
Bartender: Now Skeeter, he ain't hurtin' nobody.
Skeeter: No Mr. Pltrgyst, I wanna know what makes you think you can come in and inform the community about someone charging high prices on poker chips?!

All joking aside, I appreciate the heads up for the community. It looks like he paid 126/rack if he won those 3 racks on December 12th and 19th.

It was $212.50 + $5.95 for the first two racks and $108.49 + $5.95 for the third rack. So $107/rack (or $111/rack shipped).

The only reason I know this is because I was the 2nd place bidder on the two racks and the third place bidder on the third rack  :whistling:

Seriously, I have no problem with anyone asking whatever price he wants to for anything he owns.

I *do* have a problem with those people posing as hobbyists in order to obtain preferential treatment or bargain prices from hobbyist sources like PCF, CT, the Chiproom, etc. People like goodknightmike and his ilk. That's why I believe in identifying them, so that others who might feel as I do have the information if they prefer to not sell to those people.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's the guy I sold those two racks of Terrible's .50's too being that guy was on eBay. He's asking 400 a rack and I sold them for 140 a rack...
