Really pissed about this one. I hosted a tournament at my brother-in-law’s place. $100 chip disappeared. I have 3 suspects but no one will fess up. Please help me feel normal again to complete my 2400 chip set.

Thanks, @WedgeRock. Yeah, I’ve known most of the 18 players for 10+ years. But 3 were new and won’t be back for sure. Only good news was I won the tournament for $650.

Don't jump to conclusions that anyone took chips. I've had a missing chip after hosting a few times, but it always turned up. One time a chip rolled/slid far under a couch. Another time I found a chip wedged perfectly in one of my dining chairs, wedged between the back of the cushion and the chair. It wasn't visible to the last few people there who were helping me look for it, and I only found it a day or 2 later.

I know of several other stories that some other hosts on PCF had a chip or chips go missing, assumed the worst (that someone took them), but eventually found them later. One story I recall is someone put chips in their pocket when changing tables in a tournament, and forgot one in their pocket.

True. I haven’t outright called anyone out. My brother-in-law has cleaned his place since for a New Years party and didn’t find it. It may be there. But the fact still remains that I am missing one and need one! OCD and all.
