I'd be OK with $35 shipping as he's likely just avoiding eBay fees. I had an auction where I paid $1 cost + $150 shipping for some Paulson trays. The problem is that he refuses to combine shipping on his auctions. There is a second listing of his that has more TRKs that are part of this set, but he wants to gouge on shipping for both. I told him the $35 shipping is fine since I can adjust my bid to compensate, but I'm not bothering to bid without the combined shipping. Best of luck for those interested in this, but I'm not giving this guy a dime.

For better or worse, they changed that loophole years ago. You now pay a final value fee on the entire sale amount, including shipping.

So you tend to see a lot less of what you described, however as a seller it sucks to have to pay the eBay fee on the shipping if you're just charging people the actual shipping cost.
