tldr; 1000 piece custom spirit mold China clay set with a full rack of extra chips, a few hundred extra labels, and 10 plastic racks included, perfect for new chipper to cover micro to small stakes.
Hey everyone! As time has gone on and I look forward to moving back to Utah in 2 months to begin my medical residency, I’ve decided to slim down my 6 cash sets by offering one up for sale. It sucks, because I love this set and the design, but something’s gotta go. Out of the gate, this is a great option for the newer chipper making that first move up from dice chips that wants a custom set, large, with denominations for micro-small stakes.
I built this set last year primarily using spirit mold China clays purchased from SeanGecko - for full transparency, he only charged me $5 a rack (and really did me a solid when I was on a time crunch). I subsequently spent at least 30-40 hours designing and ordering labels, removing old labels, cleaning, oiling, and applying new labels. The set is beautiful but I simply never host often enough to need 1000 chips + I have too many cash sets and my Paulsons see the most felt time.
The set has 1000 chips with the following denominations:
100x 5 cents
400x 25 cents
300x 1 dollar
160x 5 dollars
40x 20 dollars
This should be able to work for games from 5/10 cent blinds to $1/$2 blinds, so you can grow with it. The blue spirit molds (and sometimes pink) are known for breaking from time to time, and even though when I relabeled them I removed all of the chipped ones I will include a full extra rack of replacements along with a few hundreds labels covering all denominations.
