Below is a link to an ad for 1000 Classics for $3000. I know this seller very informally (he builds tables in PA), but we did discuss these chips (via text from another ad) about 1-2 months before he posted this. I think he knows in his gut these are worth closer to the $1,500-$2,000 range. This ad has been posted for over a month and is still active. If you want me to lay the groundwork for you, maybe shoot him a text letting him know about interest at a lower price point, I'll gladly do so.

I do not know him enough to vouch for him, but I'd be happy to help out however I can.

He's got the same ad on Craigslist. I stumbled upon it. I saw he was asking $3 per chip and moved on. He said something in that ad that he knew what they are worth / no lowball offers, so I didn't bother.

Classics are going closer to $2 and less per chip all over eBay at the moment I think.

Agreed on the price. I put this out there because I feel like there's potential to get him down to market range. If there's any interest in seeing how low he will go, I'd be happy to chirp in his ear about what constitutes competitive pricing.
