Were "fun nites" part of the Paulson home line? What's the quick backstory here?

By the shipping price, it looks like the seller is going to ship 1000 chips in a MFR box. I would request they be shipped in 2 MFR boxes. (if anyone here wins them)

Any guesses on the winning bid?

$560?

KIND of glad I didn't see these until there were literally less than 10 seconds left. I don't know that I'd have gone more than $600, but I'd have been tempted. Not unbelievably difficult to get another rack of 1s and another few racks of 5s, so I could have rationalized the purchase...

Yea 560 sounds about right. I was watching for fun. Those last 30 sec are always crazy :)

I took down one of his earlier auctions that had Hundos on the THC mold.

Cool. To be honest, until this auction, I didn't even know these chips came on the Paulson mold, I had only seen them on the THC mold in the past.

Its weird, the Paulson mold looks more charcoal than black. Or maybe i need to get my eyes rechecked.

Same seller sold a bunch of racks of those early on for just $6.99 BIN...... finally wised up and saw that an auction bidding war would draw upwards of $70 for the same rack.

Saw that. You gotta wonder what he was thinking in grouping this last lot together. Maybe just little eBay experience, but most people would recognize that if you're getting at least ~$70 per rack when selling per 100, putting 1000 of them together is not going to get you a better return.

That would be true, but he was selling them for $6.99/rack initially.

edit: see Tommy's links above.

Yeah I know, but look at his auctions after that. He was getting $70 at least per rack once he allowed the bidding war to begin. Then he sticks all these together. Not smart.

I'm sure the buyers asked to buy more @ the $6.99 price. Probably came from the Paulson store in AC.
