I have some of these in a nonsense breakdown. $350 for 1000 isn't that great of a deal. Can be found on Amazon or elsewhere on the interwebs for about between 35 and 40 cents a chip including shipping.

Chips are ok, but I like my clays better for the money.

Comes with 175 extra $5s so with 1,175 the BIN comes to about $0.29/chip with free shipping. I’ve never handled them or would likely buy them myself but if it stays at around $250, $0.21/chip with free shipping and a 1,000 chip case seems like a decent deal.

To be honest for a travel set that's different from your typical clay chip, you could do a lot worse. QC isn't the best as they're Chinese manufactured, but they stack and sound nice, and are at least 10x better than plastic slugs for about less than double the price. Only issue of course is that they hold little resale value here. If you don't like them, they can easily be gifted to a child or cousin, or something.

I think 20c per chip for scrolls is pretty reasonable. Personally I'd rather pick up some used China Clay's. Used majestics can probably be found for the same price.
