Who made these?

Chipco made a bunch before selling equipment and new old stock items to PGI then PGI produced a bunch on their own to complement the sets they were selling.

@manamongkids, is that the standard 5k chip or was that a custom job? I never paid much attention to the Yak tourney chips, so maybe I just missed it until now, but it looks pretty sweet.

Its a custom $5k. They offered 3 or 4 colors, and I chose the white/gray because I love the way it pops on the otherwise colorful set.

Royal Yaks were my first chip set I used for my group. Even after a few years they still looked like brand new. GLWS

Gonna drop the price on these with no immediate interest, might be headed for FeeBay

@justsomedude originally Chipco I believe, then PGI took over production on purchased Chipco equipment. Which they have sold off in the past year, these are no longer available to be made from PGI.

Who picked up the Chipco assets from PGI? First I've heard of this....

I forget. Asked Joe to do an add on about 6 months ago and he said not possible as he sold all the equipment

Soooo are we to assume that PGI is no longer doing ceramic chips.....

You may try to split into two smaller sets and see if that helps..just a thought......I already have over 2000 YAKs otherwise I probably would have bought them.

I would do a split or sell individually if all racks are spoken for. No difference for me personally.

Re: PGI, no clue, i just know he was not offering these exact chips any longer

+1. I'm in the same boat. That said, we do have 2-3 hosts in our league who might be interested. I haven't passed the info along because of the US-shipping-only restriction (same goes for a number of recent sales, actually...). The way I read the ad, it was limited to US buyers.

If you're willing to ship to Canada, I'll pass the info on.

Prefer shipping to US only, but for those international who would be willing to pay something towards shipping, maybe $20-30 I would be fine with that

Royal Yak is a very popular casino here in Mexico City. They used those chips a while ago and changed them very recently for dice chips with inlays. Haha, strange! Good luck for the possible buyers.
