AUCTION GUIDELINES
    1. The highest bid at the closing time listed above will win. If there is a bid within 5 minutes of the closing time (original or extended closing time), 5 minutes shall be added to the time of the last bid, until there are no bids within the final 5 minutes. Because seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
    2. No Reserve. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
    3. Bids must be placed in whole US dollars, following the specified minimum increment amounts. The use of the dollar sign is optional. Bids using images or spelled out numbers are not valid.
    4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via Private Message/Convo. Sellers are not permitted to bid on their own auctions.
    5. The seller reserves the right to edit the listing to clarify statements or correct any errors.
    6. Once a valid bid is made, the auction can not be canceled. Bid edits and/or retractions are not permitted. Violations of this rule will result in discipline at the discretion of PCF Admins and/or Moderators.
    7. PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are not responsible for any actions or outcomes that take place in this auction.
Well, time to put these lovelies up for auction! This is for ONE rack. If the auction hits at least $1500, then the winner has the option to buy a second rack at the same price.
There are 25 LCV and 175 SCV. I will make sure that the rack sold in this auction is all SCV if the winner wants.

Two years ago he could have bid $500 on top of that $1050 and it still would have been a participation bid, so this feels much more reasonable haha :).

I DID NOT know you were a single chipper! :LOL: :laugh:

I also did not know that single chippers consider 40 chips to be “hoard”. I thought it took 100 chips to qualify as a “hoard” with the cc&gtcc crowd, as I learned when I lucked into getting a rack of ancient Las Vegas Club black horseshoe mold 10¢ chips several years back.

Is that 40 chips in the pic??? Or 40 barrels???

As for SCV and LCV, I personally love the hot pink. And SCV are hotter than others. But at the direction of whoever wins, if they just take one rack, I'll do my absolute best to make sure the chips are as consistent as possible to their preference.

A good number more than forty, actually. Would you prefer to see LCVs or SCVs? Primary or SECONDARY???

Ummm… wait… While I have plenty Empress $1k chips to do a fake “wall o’ chips” photo, I do NOT have the necessary Blaze Orange “Guest Stars” to fill out eight racks! Whoops! Going from memory (never a good plan), I *think* the only other Blaze Orange 39 mm chips I have are some Outpost $2 chips, and I sure don’t have anything close to eight racks of those!

Whoops… Sorry I somehow missed this question. I’m somewhat surprised anyone would ask how many chips are in the photo.

If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see that there are 40 barrels of chips - that’s 800 actual poker chips in the photo.

I trust that clears up any misunderstandings.

Forgive me if you already realized any of this (I’m just trying to clear up any remaining confusion)…
  • There are 800 total $100 chips in the photo.
  • There are 40 Empress $100 secondary chips (all visible) in the photo.
  • I’d honestly never heard the single chippers refer to 40 chips as a “hoard” before.
