Folds to CO who opens to 2.3BB (standard). Hero on BN looks down at KK and 3! to just about 4x. V calls.

Flop is low and connected. Generally I think this hits V's calling range better and this hand is a X with most of my range.
He has all the 77, 66 and TT and I only have TT. He may also have a FD.
However, I am probably ahead of most of V's calling range so I decide to bet for value and deny equity to Ax and draws.
Hero bets about 1/3 pot.

I think this sentence is spot on. "Generally I think this hits V's calling range better and this hand is a X with most of my range." I've learned over time to not be so afraid of checking back and giving a free card or two, especially to protect your check-back range. A hand like this, with no heart, is more of a two streets of value type of hand.
