Local pickup available in TX. Looks like a decent deal for a local. Chips look minty, but it is a first time seller. I'd proceed with caution.

Looks sketchy....couldn’t even count how many chips....over 2 bucks a chip in that quantity.....there’s really people sitting on 3 grand with that set in mind ?

There has been a metric ton of Paulson Classic and Paulson World sets on eBay lately. Maybe half a dozen in the last three weeks, ranging from 500-1500 chips each. All going for average $4 a chip at the end. I wonder what's bringing these sets out of the wild all of a sudden?

You answered your own question with $4 a chip. Can you imagine being a civilian and paying $1 for those back in the day and all of sudden seeing the nutty prices now? Instasell

I suppose. I know the chips are nice, but I would never pay $3.50-$4 per chip for them. Just not my style, and definitely out of my budget. But, since there are many others with cash in hand and a burning desire to acquire them, I suppose it's good as long as everybody's happy.

What I'm scared of is that there are plastic replicas of Paulson Classic out there (origin in Europe?). Wouldn't want to pay good money and get those by mistake or by design.

Wow. Who would have ever guessed that Paulsons home chips would go for $3.50-$4/chip. I have 3 sets of 1,000 each -- Pharaoh's, Classics and PCRs --. I never in a million years would have thought those sets would be worth over $10K total. Crazy.
