I started building my first Paulson cash set. It will be a mixed set. I went with the TP for fracs. Leaning towards the Flamingos for my $1s over the Paris $1s. Any recommendations for red $5s that are more readily available?

That’s a ton of mixed sets for sake in the classifieds. You could just buy one and save you us the headache of picking out individual chips for you.

Murdering or keeping inlays? I think the flamingo $1 has better inlay flow with the frac, and I like a solid $1. Not sure if it makes sense having a spotted frac and a solid $1, tho.

Flamingos are great for sure but aren’t they bastard hard to come by with reasonable price? Or just those spotted one are worth fortune?

Solids have been very reasonable to the point where I fool myself into wanting a 4th rack, spotted go for big bucks.

Plan is to keep the inlays.

I have Flamingo, Venetian and Paris $1s. I prefer a white $1 chip, so my Venetians get way more play. If you are going to murder and relabel the Paris chip will look good with your fracs. I have been using Flamingo $5s, but think I am about to grab a few racks of Paris $5s to mix it up. I don't love the Paris $5s, so some of my other chips make it into play instead.

Spotted are the high dollar ones. I got lucky late at night one time and bought 2 racks of solid $1s for $110 a rack.

As soon as I get some Gear labels for my fuchsia $5s and mustard $20s I'll have a playable set. Anybody got some spare Gear labels?
