Welcome. I 100 percent recommend saving up and getting the real deal. The Horseshoe chips are a great entry point. I have 200 1s, 100 5s, and 100 25s I would sell if you wanted, and it would be very easy to expand from there.
I would first suggest reading around about starting stacks and how many chips you need, your numbers seem really high, but you might have more friends than me and their pockets might be wayyyy deeper than the people I play with. For 1 table 1 rack of quarters or .50s is sufficient, 200-300 1s is a good start, 200-300 5s, 100 25s, and some 100s for added bank depth.
My small set would give you 400 chips with a bank of 3200 or 530 per person with 6 people/320 per person with 10 people. 1s and 5s show up regularly for add on purposes.
