Up for sale is 1/2 of my China Clay Pharaoh set. 2,000 chips were purchased from Jim at the Chip Room in the first group buy. A few weeks later I added another 2,000 which were purchased from Josh at Apache as Jim was sold out. The 2,000 that are up for sale are very lightly used and near new. In fact, most have never been put into play. I would like to sell the complete set to one buyer, but if that is not possible I will break them down into lots of 100 at a later date.

Chips include:

  • 500 $25's
  • 500 $100's
  • 400 $500's (Yea, I know. Too many. My bad)
  • 400 $1,000's
  • 200 $5,000's

Chip trays will be included.

Selling the complete set for $600 with FREE shipping via FedEx ground or UPS (my choice) to CONUS.

Thankyou very much for the lovely compliments. However I did ask you to post other pictures to verify the true color of the chips sir! Which you refused and insisted that it’s my monitor, however I’m using a high resolution Mac so yeah sorry buddy, either you did something to the chips or they aren’t the real pharoah cc’s. Because you can clearly see here in my picture the true color of pharoahs. Sorry buddy, not sure what your trying to pull. Again why are your $100 chips black with white and blue accents instead of orange ?

You show up here with 5 posts and tell me my chips are not real! The Pharaoh chips on Apache's website are not even made by the same manufacturer that made mine. There are color differences because of this. If you like the Apache chips then please go buy them and leave me alone. Eight PM's from you is eight too many.

One last time, here is another pic of my $100's.

Edit: Also, the expert that you are, you didn’t even notice the mold is different on the Apache chips. New manufacturer!

il take 2 racks of 100s and 2 racks of 25s. Let me know if you are down to do that and a price good sir.

Shaggy, no disrespect at all and not trying to be confrontational at all but I have my own set of pharoahs and looked at over a dozen of other pharoah sets I found on here and no ones are discolored like this besides the $1000’s which are commonly know to be different shades. I also asked for additional pictures to confirm the true color of them and was refused so what else am I to believe. It is what it is! I just find it extremely odd and sketchy this person refuses to take additional photos when asked nicely. That’s shady shaggy. If it is the lighting, just take additional photos which I don’t understand why it is so hard to do. Feel me ?

I have no dog in this fight. I’m shocked that I even commented, because China clays aren’t on my radar. But I guess that’s the point - these are 30 cent China clays. China clays come from China! There’s very little quality control. Issues like color variation aren’t even “issues” - they’re part of the deal. That’s why they’re 30 cents apiece!

As far as CC's go, these are actually quite lovely chips.

I bought a decent sized sample of Pharoahs from the original Chiproom GB and was completely stoked with them. They have this wonderful, soft, nearly tacky feel and grip each other very positively in stacks. Spent many hours handling, appreciating, and shuffling them. But I was a poor student and never ended up buying a set.

Enter phase two of my chipping a year ago or so - and I naively expected to finally own a set of the Pharoahs I stilll distinctly remembered. Long story short, the new versions deeply disappointed me. Perhaps the new materials were developed to improve durability, or reduce costs, or both - but they simply don't hold the appeal of the originals, to my taste. Hard, slick plastic - bleh!

Nice opportunity here, and a great price - GLWS. Were it a micro cash set, I'd be very tempted.

Hi,

I have a question about this : Is there any a difference between yours and apache's pharao'h ? ok for the color (don't care about it, i like orange and yellow :D) but about the solidity for impact resistance...

other question : do you have them for a long time? some impacts ?
