used paulsons seem to be on the rise, i noticed the same, click on sold eBay listing and even here at PCF i have seen a difference in the past 6 months since i have not been around in awhile ......i am amazed starbusts are going for over $1...ok almost with shipping a buck each

i guess with paulson no longer doing the home market has helped most used paulsons?

I bought 300 Starbursts for .70 each just two weeks ago. The deals are out there but there seems to be desperation to get a set lately and that leads to inflated pricing. All it takes is two interested parties to make certain auctions go sky high.

Patience is the key to getting chips at good prices. Patience and Diligence.

Back on track, those prices are ridiculous.

It is sort of like some of the Outpost that jwssporstcollectibles has listed on eBay. $329 for a rack of Grand inlay $5's. I was thinking about putting mine up for sale. Maybe I should ask only $300 a rack. LOL

Actually was looking at posting 400 1's and 300 $5's as a starter cash set for someone but if I can get $300 a rack maybe that;s the way to go!!!

hey i used to post my outpost on eBay with a crazy reserve just to see what value they may bring........those will be the one of last 3 sets to go if i start to liquidate all but one or two playable sets.....i have about 4,000 other chips to go before i get close to that....it could happen

yes i agree....but i have seen chips that Jim at the Chiproom sales went for 25 cents a piece and now getting $1 each...that is crazy, Aztars, Empress come to mind

I think this set that sold recently is more representative of the market price. Those $1000 Buy It Now listings are just trolling for high counter-offers.

"He's listed it for $1000. If I offer him $700, I should get a great deal!!"

At least those are on the card pips mold. Gorgeous chips, too bad the breakdown is really wonky.

I had a brief discussion w/the seller of the items in the OP. He believes he can get at least $400 for those advertising chips. Maybe he can, but he and I disagree on that.

I would agree with you. Nothing special about them and I have seen nicer chips go for less.
