Wanted 20-ish inlaid ASM/CPC hourglass mold samples (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm actually giving the hourglass mold serious consideration for a new set (I know, right?) and realized that I don't actually own enough of them to make a decent shuffle stack and REALLY decide if it's a viable option. Looking for around 20 hourglass mold chips, any type, any colors, must be inlaid (preferably with the oversized inlay,) preferably all weighted.

I have plenty of FDLs and I think 7 scroll mold chips (Armory sample set; Rounders should be here one of these days) that you can borrow if you want. But, you have to give them back.

i have always been a little iffy on the feel of HG mold chips. i certainly wouldn't shit on the mold generally. i loved my Black Sands chips and i think it works so, so well in Gil's Arizona Club, but for some reason it just feels a bit light or brittle or something to me.

i have always been a little iffy on the feel of HG mold chips. i certainly wouldn't shit on the mold generally. i loved my Black Sands chips and i think it works so, so well in Gil's Arizona Club, but for some reason it just feels a bit light or brittle or something to me.

I've handled them in quantity before and that was my general impression as well, but tastes change and it would be a PERFECT thematic fit for this set (and large inlay area could potentially be important as well.) It's basically between that and HHR, which is great-looking and feeling and cheaper, but overdone and a mediocre fit for the set.
