I didn't even know there were Olympic uniforms other than jerseys and spandex and shit, but apparently every country has some fancy schmancy outfits they wear during the ceremonies.

Seeing only the USA uniforms at first I thought, "Holy shit these look horrific like what my 9th grade girlfriend would have designed when she was high on Davidoff Cool Water.

But then I saw the other countries and realized this must be an additional event: making your athletes look as dumb as humanly possible. Except for Sweden and Canada and Great Britain - they're not too bad. But the rest...yikes. Australia's might be the worst. They look like they work at the resort from the later Saved By The Bell years.

I wonder if they said anything when Roots was making everything for the U.S. Team? Im pretty sure Roots is a Canadian company, seems like it might be treason to let one of those canuck companies manufacture our get ups. Those fuckers probably used inferior beaver fur and moose spit in construction of said garments just to spite us.....

The only thing I remember from episodes at the resort apart from the uniforms is Leah Remini who is as smoking now as she was then.

Most underrated winter Olympic sport, by the way. If you've never watched it, set your calendar for 2018, though the 11-hour time difference from ET is going to SUCK.

Very disappointing to see that Canada's uniforms are both stupid and being modeled by a bunch of anorexics.

I read somewhere that South Korea's uniforms are Zika resistant. That might be the most important reason to have them.

Honestly, the 2016 edition is a pretty marked improvement, IMO.
