Hello PCF! The purpose of this thread is to identify custom chip sets, made by PCF members, for nomination into the 2022 PCF Hall of Fame.

For eligibility, a set must have been revealed here on PCF between January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020. In addition, one "expired" set (ie revealed before 1/1/17) can be put up for a legacy vote each year (i.e., to fix past omissions). So if there's an older set that hasn't gotten consideration before that you feel the committee should consider including, please post about it here!

Any and all members - new or old - are welcome to stump for a set. Pictures and/or links to the original reveal thread are highly encouraged, as some people don't keep tabs on all the sets that have been recently created. Insights on the reasons why you think a certain set is worthy of consideration are also welcomed. The HOF committee will take this thread into consideration when determining the list of sets that will be put up for the HOF voting towards the end of the year.

And in case you don't remember if a set has made it into the HOF yet, all previously enshrined sets are posted here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/resources/categories/hall-of-fame.6/

Stump away!!!!

@Josh Kifer's Cactus Petes

So, I feel this set showed us all that you don't need high end spots to put together a great set. I love the overall feel as well. It is one of those sets that promotes and inspires other to be creative. He even uses nonstandard colors in a manner that's not tilting!

Stumpin' BIG TIME for @madforpancakes The Rainier Room set. Having joined the forum in 2020 and learning the intricacies of custom sets and the HOF, I've long been looking forward to this day. The Rainier Room rightfully deserves a spot in the HOF and to be able to call itself one of the greatest custom sets ever created. The $20 and $500 are insane. Best of luck to everybody from the class of 2020.

Are we going by production year or PCF reveal time? If the former, @Toby 's Emerald City cash set was made in 2020 but the reveal didn't go up until January 2021

Reveal date of the actual chips. I believe Emerald City was revealed in January 2021, so that set would be eligible beginning next year.

I agree with Cactus Pete and Rainer Room. I'll also stump for @MarquetteMonkey 's amazing Story Hill set:

There are a lot of great sets up for consideration. All are such fun sets. Great use of color. Great inlays. Really like all of these. Nice job all of you.

And I would also stump for @Mr Tree 's hitching post wagon wheel set and @slisk250 's rosie's bayou high roller sets, but I think those count as add-ons to existing HOF sets? If not, they both should be considered as well.

A. Thank you for the nomination!
B. I would consider the high rollers a completely separate Hitching Post set from the cash set which is in the HOF. It is a tournament set and also has a new inlay.

All the sets above are incredible. Rainer Room, Story Hill, Nirvana Lounge, Vespers, Cavs, Willy's... Such a good year. It'll be a tough job for the crew to hash out.

Yeah, 2020 and 2021 seem to have been absolute banner years for custom sets.

One of the few positives to come out of the pandemic! :wtf::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

I'd like to echo @inca911 as well. We all enjoy the HOF so I'd like to thank the committee for doing it every year. It's something I truly look forward to!
I'd like to thank the HOF commission for giving us all something to piss and moan about that isn't in the politics section.

Even though the HOF is rigged because 24+17= 41

41 was the number of my ship in the Navy.

It was sunk off the coast of Hawaii and that's why ceramic sets don't get nominated.

I'm not saying committee members take bribes, but I'm not saying we don't either...

Prime content......

All I can think about when I look at this thread is holy crap, how are these sets up for nominations already? The covid time warp is strong. I had no idea I've been on this forum since late 2020 already.
Good luck everyone- many if these nominated sets are what inspired me to put in my own cpc order this past year

For real. I feel like Josh's sets, for instance, just came out a few weeks ago.
