Hi all

I've created some mockups for the 25k chip in my tournament set I'm creating.
I did a blue and green one.

I've also got a sample set to see how the colors compare in real life.

Which one looks best and fits best into the whole set?

Do you have any suggestions or other color combinations that would fit?
Please let me know.

1. Blue (Imperial Blue, Dark Blue, Bright White)

2. Green (Retro Green, Light Green, Bright White)

3. Green (Retro Green, Blurple, Bright White)

4. Green (Retro Green, Dark Green, Bright White)
This one looks good on the mockup but I think that the Dark Green spots won't stand out enough from the Retro Green. (in real life)
Especially if the light is not ideal.

a couple options in order of my favorite. I also think your gray needs a pop of color since it’s the only monotone chip in lineup.

I'm a huge fan of green colors so I prefer all the green options to the blue option. Of the green options, I don't think I would include the blue spots but it is pretty too. All the greens are very nice. What might tip the scales is what the art work will be.

Which one do you like the best? This matters the most!

Blue. Don't go with another green chip if you're going to use a green $25 chip in the set.
But the $25 chip will only be used in the cash game so it's completely separate from the tournament set, would you still go with a different color than green and if so why?

I'll shortly post some new mockups.

I'm in the process of trying different colors on the 5k chip and the following question came up.

Does it matter which placement the "bright" spot colors on a chip have or is there a "correct" placement?
On the Atlantic Club chips from CPC I see that when three spots are present, that the placement is the upper two and the lowest spot .

I also saw this placement when there were more than three spots present.

For example:

Which one of the following looks better?

I'll soon post some mockups of all the chips for comparison. (with the new 5k and 25k)

I think it comes down to preference but I like the bottom version with blurple spot at 12 o’clock and white at 6 o’clock.

I’m not the right person to ask, but agree with above, think it’s your preference.

FYI. @JMC9389 @LinkyBabe @Kam @ChipMonster @HiveKueen @Racer96 @Gunnar

Below you can find the new mockups for the 5k and 25k chips in two spot variations.
I changed the 5k so it has some color to it and your suggestions for the 25k chip (blue base, light blue and DG pink spots) were spot on.
Actually I own a sample of the CPC Atlantic Club set and the $1s have a similar combination (blue base and DG pink spots) and I really like it.

Please let me know which one you find the most aesthetic. (spot placement AND color combination AND with the whole chipset)

As there are so many examples one way to give feedback could be like this:

These would my 2, although I’d recommend whatever you’re drawn to.

I think the dayglo pink works great with the blue to give the contrast, and you save the bright white against the darker charcoal:

I like this but you’ll just have to hash over it a million times like the rest of us who have built customs!!

Thank you for your reply!

Yeah I'm aware that in the end I'll have to decide what to get.
I just like to get some feedback on my thoughts and further improve the chip set and prevent any obvious mistakes that I don't see as a new chipper. :)

If you did build a custom set, do you have a direct URL?

Yeah, I built Pineapple Beach and have another set I’m waiting on delivery hopefully still this year.

I have a thing for the bright white edge spots and I particularly like them with the dg pink shots on the blue chip. It really pops. The gray chip is giving me difficulty. I really like the bright white on the either the gray or charcoal chips but I don't think you want bright white on consecutive chips. So I think I would go with gray with blurple and charcoal. One thing to keep in mind is that the gray from CPC actually looks a little like a pale blue. See my $5000 chip below.

Am I the only one to worry about dirty stacks and contrast with blue and gray based chips next to each other?

Just looking at the chips it would be true, but when you look at the game those two chips wouldn't be in play at the same time.
In a T500 tournament the T5000 gets colored up for the T25000.

Considering the whole set it could be an issue under low light conditions.
I'll have to think about it.

Hmm I’m not sure I understand so the 5k and 25k are never going to be in play at the same time? Never using the 25k chips for rebuy or deepstack? At what blinds are you going to color up all T5000 to T25000 and how many T5000 are you going to have in play per player so that color up makes sense ?
