Yeah had him around there. Would have snapped if the $1s were different or the breakdown was half decent, or they didn’t have an over stamp

My thoughts exactly. The 1s are probably around a buck a chip. And there are like 2400 of them. The 5s and 25s are probably worth 2 to maybe 2.50.

I wouldn't bet that these even sell. Some people who post crazy inflated prices may be old and stubborn and might pass away before they are even willing to negotiate or drop the price to a reasonable level where they would actually sell.

eBay and letgo should come up with a sister site called 'holdonto' where they can move irrationally overpriced items from sellers to declutter their listings.

A trip through the ultrasonic and they'll be almost good as new. The edges still look pretty square and most would likely stand on edge. Agree that they're not worth $2/chip. I'd entertain $1.50 or less, but no higher.

@Gear , would over labeling be possible with cancellation stamps on top of the inlay? Not sure what the stamps are made of and if they change the consistency of the inlay where the stamp is placed.

So it basically is a hot stamp, got it. That drags the value of the chip down quite a bit. I wouldn't pay more than what you guys have suggested so far. $1.25 or so a chip, but only because they appear in decent condition. It's a shame, because I like the $5 chip.

^^ This. Those $5s would make a great base for more than one cash set (relabeled, murdered, or as-is), and the $25s can be repurposed as $1s or fracs. And some folks dig white solids as $1s (especially leaded). Still plenty of meat on the bone at $1.50-$2.00/chip for the lot, imo.

Used solid white $1s with cancellation stamps seems like a bad deal at anything above $1/chip if you ask me. I think it would be hard to resell those at that price in today's slow classifieds.

Leaded THC in excellent+ condition with an inlay even with a partial hotstamp I think would fetch $1/per and more on eBay even after fees. Sure they wouldn’t be flying off the “shelves” but if you’re willing to hold some inventory I definitely think it’s in the realm of possibilities.
