I’m looking for a 10k tournament set that can handle 30 players plus 30 re-buys.
I’m only interested in Paulson chips and I’m looking to spend about a 1-2 dollars per chip. Breakdowns would be:
8/8/4/7 1000 chips or
8/8/2/3/1 800 chips

Is this realistic? I am okay with chips that aren’t mint. Additional 5k-10k chips would help with re-buys and color ups.
Looking for advice and ideas on what could fit the bill.
Cheers,
Joe

PM sent. Any other suggested options?
GCR? Another tourney set I am not aware of?

Since you asked for other options...

And if you will stray from Paulson, there are several 43mm SunFly ceramic group buys going on now, these chips have received rave reviews and are priced nicely.
Let’s just be clear that these aren’t actually Paulsons, despite being marketed as such. These are made by GPI, the company that owns Paulson and BCC and other chip brands. They may very well be made with the same clay as Paulsons, or they may not - I’m not sure anybody but the folks at GPI can answer that question.
People seem to like them so far, so they may be a great option for somebody shopping for Paulsons. But calling them Paulsons is not accurate.

True, as they say "get samples."

^^ Absolutely true. Nowhere does GPI or Gemaco refer to these chips as Paulson chips, which is one (of several) of their brand names for specific chips with specific attributes.

They are clay chips made by GPI on the 39mm lammer mold and sold by Gemaco as promotional chips. @Apache marketing them as Paulsons is very misleading, and borders on intentional deception.

Thanks for all the great info guys. Looks like I will either need to settle for less or be willing to pay more per chip.

Hello Joe! I may have an option for you. I’ll send you a pm.
Matt
