What is best way to ship 400 chips to Canada? Asking for a friend.

I tried estimating on USPS site and it was going to be $49 with medium flat rate box. Seemed high to me.

That's actually a good deal compared to shipping within Canada as Canada Post doesn't have flat rate boxes like the USPS does. Approximately $33 ($44 CAD) of that $49 postage will be paid to Canada Post. That same package would cost $92 CAD just to ship across Canada by air. Luckily I live close to the border and have most of my shipments from the US sent to a USPS PO Box.

I have passed on many a chip because of this. Didn’t realize it was all Canada post tho. Figured the US got a bigger cut.

Probably Parcelforce? Box em up, take em to the post office for a quote. Or measure/weigh and do quotes online

I used parcel2go some moons ago. Dunno if they are still competitive, though

I have a large set of Majestics and they’re great chips. Have a great feel and excellent colors. Best china clays around

I almost always steer clear of using private couriers versus using the post office when it comes to shipping internationally. The private couriers may offer cheaper shipping up front but more than make up for it with brokerage fees.
