I'm in need of 1 rack for 43mm chips. I need it to fit in a birdcage so either the 80ct rack or the Matsui rack.

All I need is 1. Help a brotha out~!

The 80-ct rack is 50mm, and it won't stack with standard 39mm racks.

I have a dozen bird cages of various designs and sizes, and the 'standard' 43mm racks are too long for all of them except one -- and it is a heavy-duty carrier specifically built for casino use and oversize chips.

I'm waiting for these:

I wanted a chip rack that would sit on top of the 39mm rack and hold 43mm chips. The commercially available ones are too wide but they hold 100 x 43mm chips. I decided to make one that fit. Given the limitations of the 39mm racks it would hold 80 x 43mm chips rather than 100 but should stack nicely.

Here are photos of my prototype in acrylic.

It works fine as the top rack but I will need to move the chips to the edge to allow a 39mm rack to sit on top of it without sliding left and right.

It will likely be another month but I'll post my attempt here and eventually DIY instructions if you want to make one as well.

Those would be nice. (y)

I'm also waiting on the stacking flat trays that can hold dealer buttons and cards.

Would be nice to have a thread about pictures of chips holders, chip storage solutions, where do people put their cards, buttons, etc? I often find my oversized buttons all over the place and spare chips and sample sets loosely placed in various disorganized racks (n)

I use the Birdcage Carriers and usually put the cards in smaller cardboxes and put them between the trays. Also throw the button in between there too

an aside: what is the consensus on keeping chips racked and stacked regarding potential warping effects? Strikes me as a potential undesirable side effect of keeping them under load like that.

Never had a single problem with tens of thousands of chips stacked up to 10 racks high for years. YMMV, especially if direct sunlight or high heat is involved.... both of which should be avoided even if the chips are not in racks.
