Looking for an upgrade to this (see Pic). Anyone offer a 48” solid round table top?

Just because this doesn't come up often Tony, what is recommended seating for a 48 inch round? I'm guessing 5-6? I'm pretty suspicious that 8 could sit comfortably at a 48 inch octagon.

A round? 4 is ideal.

5 is still comfortable, 6 is a squeeze.

Octagons are a different animal. It also depends if you measure 48" from the diagonal or from the straight sides.

I have a 50" round and 6 is the max comfort level. 7 is a squeeze & 8 would only be possible with a bunch of really skinny guys that like each other a lot (don't know many).

I'd think a 48" would be 5 comfortable, 6 a squeeze but doable
