I would go after these... but...

Someone here get them!!!

Hmm, on second thought. I'm out. "AJ" makes poor decisions, the 5s are not the cool ones, these are beat to hell, and they're starting the bid at over $4 per... no thanks. These aren't for me.

For two grand you'd think the seller could muster up some better pics to showcase the chips!!

I don't think they'll sell.

I would give my left testicle for a set of Mapes, and I wouldn't even bid 1k for these let alone 2k

When I was on the hunt for Mapes one dollar chips I would've snatched these in a second. As a matter of fact the first ones that i owned were notched. As for the rest of the set well, I think they would clean up nicely but that depends on what you like.

Maybe due to condition the seller will negotiate the price. The last one dollar chips here went for an average of over $10 each. Those however, did not have the hot stamp.

I think you priced them a little cheap. My calculations had H|Q paying 13 a piece for them in well used condition. I never tested the waters to see what those racks of 25s I had would go for now. I traded them @ the friends & family rate with another chipper.

Pretty close, I priced them at $15 each without the stamp. But that was when I could still get racks of $5 for $200 each from @Spinettis Gaming . So I bought a bunch, after that there was a run on $5s and the price went to $3 a chip. I priced the $25 chips @$5. Which took me to my ABSOLUTE maximum bid. Had @slisk250 last bid stood, I would have been out.

Yep I stand corrected. $15 each. I think Spinettis sells the used hourglass mold $5's for $3 each (blue ones at least).

$25's for more..

I just emailed the seller asking to put up better photos. The $1s appear to be in better condition than I thought they were. Definitely in better shape than the 5s and 25s. I'm still not a buyer at that price, but perhaps someone in here is. Might be worth another look with the new pics.

Hope someone here picked these up... doubt we'll see that quantity come up again anytime soon...
