We usually get 2, but it pushes three 8 seated tables sometimes. I'd like to finish the set out just a bit in case we fill up the 3rd table. So, I'd like some 5k chips so we could handle full 3 tables, T10,000 tourney. Right now, we just keep the 500's in play.

We sometimes run 16/16/8/4, and also have run 8/8/8/5.

Either way, you can see the need for 5k chips.

I can't even find the 5k chip online for a picture to post. So, I'll post some pictures of the other chips. I know I can get a ceramic made, matching it, or close to it....but I'd like the chip. I know they exist, I have indeed seen them, but it's been a while.

I would also be willing to move some 10k chips

No, I don’t. Years ago when Absolute was shut down, somebody sold all of their chips that were used for the player promo points. For some reason there weren’t as many 5k chips. Well, if you bought the set early, you got them. If you waited and they were up on eBay already, you got 300 t10k chips, and 300 t500 chips, but no t5k chips. I have seen them, but I don’t and can’t find a pic. I’ll look harder from the work computer tomorrow.

I don't think @ABC Gifts and Awards made these, but I remember somebody saying they were the old textured Nevada Jack chip basically. whoever made the first set, or something. I doubt he can just make some because somebody still has the Absolute Poker rights. I should just have xDan make me some from his China ceramics dealer.... :cautious:

Here's a crazy alternative solution -- which may or may not be feasible -- relabel the 1000 denom to a 2000 denom.

In looking at the close up pics - it almost looks like there may be a higher outer edge to the chip that forms a recess in the center that would better take a label without creating 'spinners,' but even if not, maybe it would work to create really small labels with the number 2 on them to overlay the number 1.

There isn't a recess at all in the chip. It is textured, then goes to smooth, but it isn't set at all. Along with that, I'd be more likely to relabel the 10k down to 5k, since we actually use the 1k quite a bit. That isn't a terrible idea if I can't find something. Or I'll just sell all of he 10k chips, and use that towards a more custom 5k. I'm sure Gene could come up with something that is pretty close.
