That would have been my use for them, but there's no way I could by with 200 $5s.

I suppose it could work for some games, but it woudnt' for mine. We have $3k on the table with our initial buy-ins and have at least double that within the first 5 or so hours of the game. If I absolutely had to use the set, I'd use the grays as $1s and the blues as $100s.

But you did say "smallish" $1/2 NL, so yeah, I guess if you had just 6 people and play was very tight, it would be workable.
