Grats! Give them a good home

DrStrange

Thanks, i will.

Seems the hot thing right now (or has been for a while) is cash sets.

I personally love tournament games. As does most of the group i play with. So sets like this really appeal to me.

Nice score. Looking for some $5K's if you have more that you need let me know.

nice catch matb...could use 20 of the yellow 1000...maybe more if you sell off any extras

Don't have any Le Noir 500's to trade +cash do you?

Very nice set! if you decide you don't like them, dibs on the hundos please! :)

@luckbox how many $1000s would you buy? I may have a mint rack for sale soon because I've given up on completing my PCR set. I wouldn't want to split the rack though. Inbox me if interested.

i have 3 sets left that i plan on keeping (but you never know) that i have been adding to as follows;

Paulson Private Cardroom- close to 800+ chips as of today
Outpost Casino - about 950+ chips
Fitzgeralds Casino Vegas/Reno - just over 1000

1000 misc chips i will be selling when my lazy ass gets around to it
800 cash CPS set for beer games- dont need to add any there

so i may buy just about anything to add to the 3 sets above at the right price.....dont need em but might want em (y)

Seems sellers remorse is quite common around here..

Actually, no sellers remorse. I actually had a cash set of these for a year. Then the Samurai Palace set came available. It was a cash set that I had always wanted. Simply had to part with them to upgrade (upgrade to me that is, realistically, probably a lateral move, lol).

I buy chips, keep them for a few months to a year. Use them a few times and sell them for what I paid for. I've probably done this 20-25 times. I've lost money only a couple of times. I've made a small profit a couple of times. Mostly I break exactly even. I forget what member said it recently. I basically "rent" the chips for the price of shipping.

Love the concept of renting... nice way to think of it.

That way if you absolutely love the set you keep it. If not, move it on.

Im looking for 30 $500s OR acombo of 10 $500s and 10 $1000s if you get an urge to sell a few. I don't have much to trade, but I'd also do a 1:1 trade for any of the following. I have some smaller denomination PCRs -- 2 $1s, 2-$5s, 3-$25s, 30 of Grey NCV PCRs and a barrel of $5 Casino de Isthmus.

And if any of you want to trade one or more racks of my $1PCRs for your NCV PCRs of the same color (dark blue with purple and pink edge spots), let me know.

Nice pick up on these! I prefer the original hundos, but probably my favorite home set.

Yes i like the original 100s too and the original 25s.

Luckily 120 of the older 25s just showed up yesterday in the mail. Now just need to find the 100s.

thats the way it goes .....the 3 sets i mentioned above i have had for years, there have been plenty of sets in between those over the years but those three are probably in for the long haul,

i found some old notes the other day when i first started buyin chips my first real set of paulsons was a 300+ chip set of PCR's non demons for a total of $202.50 in jan of 2009 from a CT member from Mass, so that started that set then it went nuts from there.....the non denoms are gone but it fueled the rest
