Very gawdy. I love them ;) Too bad there aren't at least 600 $5s. I'd snag them and print some $1s.

They were gone within a few hours of my original post. (Not to say that they were sold because of my post, but they sold quickly.)

I got'em, anyone have any $500's & $1,000's.

They are Near New Condition and Look Much Better " in person.

I know, I'm deleting my sets, but couldn't resist these....

Wasn't really sure they were actually Real Casino Chips, until I bought therm and looked them up on The Chipboard.

Seller told me, they are at least 12yrs old and that the Casino sold them off during some sorta changeover at the Casino.

Looking forward to getting some of the 500's and 1000's to complete the set.

P.S.

Gear , I didn't see your post until this morning.

What 500's & 1,000's will go ok with these chips ?

They appear to be Chipcos, so your best bet would probably be to get some "tribute" versions from Game On. Will push your per chip cost up a bit, but would be worth it imo.

Then again, the breakdown is fine as is for a single-table tourney set.

Let's see some pics!

EDIT: I hosted the auction pic elsewhere so it doesn't disappear in 90 days.

Plus you could get oversize for the win! GOCC is a little particular when it comes to actual casino "mockery" though, so you may have to tweak the design quite a bit to make them comfortable with it. Just remember fairly recent issue over on CT for add-ons to a Happy Days set IIRC. However I talked to them about getting some oversized chips made for PNY upper denoms and they were good with it since it was my/P5's art

They are Chipco's and I think I need to be patient and keep looking for these in $500's and $1,000's. I have seen a few, but hard to find and Very Costly.

I'm really in no hurry and will prob let them go after completing the Set.

My main prob is that when I start a set, I go a little crazy until I get it completed.

Thanks for your reply's.

Your situation is very close to my situation with the Happy Days Chips in the custom forum. Original casino didnt make a 500. GOCC wouldnt let anything close to the art be produced. It couldnt even resemble it. PGI was more than willing but you have to make the entire image from scratch which is beyond time consuming. OWPS I just sent an image to and I got free samples and design. The only downside is the ceramic blanks arent the same but for me the value of having an identical matching chip made it more than worth the slight difference in the blanks.

Also nice score! I would have jumped all over that as well.

Thanks Gear,

These are from a different tourney.

Oops, are they really? Sorry, I didn't notice... my mistake!

I'm still keeping an eye out for higher denoms :)

Apparently , there were several Tourney's with simular designs & Same Colors on the Chipco Chips.

I still haven't found out when this Tourney was held. All I know is about 12 yrs ago..

I found some 500's, 1000's and 5000's that I will use with this set if approved by some here.

I'll get some Pic's this afternoon I HOPE >>>

Cool! One of these days I'm going to try to bribe you into telling me your sources for chips :)

I really don't have a source, I just search the web sites.

I'm retired and have a lot of spare time, when I'm not fishing...
