I thought it might be him. He’s a member here(if the same seller) who bought from eBay, listed them on FB and for some reason lied about where they came from claiming he bought them directly from CPC

Had them listed on FB before he hand them in hand too. *shrug* why the need to lie or be shady about where you got them from?

Note that the ones in the above FB listing appear to be blanks, with overlabels (they look like they're just slightly too large for the recess, the white edges of the labels are showing on many of them) rather than molded-in inlays.

Well, last year it was what I would call "too much". You can search FB Marketplace listing in CA to see if he lowered any.
