I am packing up some Bahamia chips and go looking for a medium flat rate box. I find an older one deep in the closet - it is a 2010 box sent to me by JWS Sports Collectables, the original source for Outpost chips. This box held the last 200 Outpost quarters I bought and a rack of two dollar chips as well. At the time it was the most I had ever paid for chips - 300 chips for $550. Good memories, never looked back.

Oh happy day! -=- DrStrange

I know, this post is worthless without pictures:

I have 400 of these:

And a rack of these:

I had 2 racks of the oranges and sold them like a big dummy. My favorite all-time casino chip.

those lcv shaped and mint quarters look gorgeous :)
loolks like your closet is full up with treasures !
were the bahmias mint also ? I'd say yes !

My Bahamias?

The $1s, $25s, and $100s are not mint, but have minimal wear. I call them in 'excellent' condition - sharp edges, some surface cross hatching. But not mint. (don't even ask about $1 chips, those aren't for sale.)

The $5 chips are either used or mint. I can't quite figure how the $5 chips got worn as much as they did. The rest of the set has minimal wear and the fives show their use. Not anything like Garden City chips but the difference between a used $5 and a mint $5 is obvious. Where as I can't easily tell the difference between the mint $25s and the other ones ( the guy I bought these from mixed the mint $25s with the rest of the lot.)

Oh, and they all came from The Chip Room who ships loose in baggies so everything has occasion small flea bites.

These come out to play in the winter when I want to think about tropical drinks on a tropical island beach.
