A Terrible CL Find (1 Viewer)

sometime last week, a random CL search returned a large set of terrible's for sale. while i wasn't exactly looking for ~800 chips at the time (or to spend what he was asking), i asked the seller if he'd sell a few racks - to which he refused. the same search made two days ago yielded the same ad; i figured i'd throw out what i considered to be a lowball offer to which he, very surprisingly, accepted. while most of the reds are used-but-good condition, the rest of the lot is surprisingly sharp: over a rack of the fracs, nearly two racks of the $1 whites, and all of the $25 + $100 chips are in mint/like-new condition.

and now the pr0n:

considering i'd already had about four racks of assorted denoms (including two racks of brand new $5 st. joe secondaries), be on the lookout for a FS/TRADE thread in the classifieds area soon.

Nice find. All I ever find near me is "500 real clay chips" for $150 lol. And I'm lucky if I even come across those. Actually came across one that claimed the dice chips were used Vegas chips and he was selling them for $300 for 500. I was tempted to call the number and cuss him out for being a scumbag to some poor person who probably bought it unknowingly lol

Nice score and welcome to the Terrible's family. I have a few of those too. I'm overseas until July but if there are some denoms you need to fill racks I probably have then available then.

thanks guys! the timing couldn't have been better as i'm going to have two tables running at the house today. while i didn't need these, i'm calling an audible and will be getting these in play: isthmus' for the 1/2 game and instead of my garden city set, the terrible's for the 5/5.
