First post here, finally decided to register after lurking for a while because I could use some advice from some of you that are far more experienced than I.

I'm running my first home poker tournament soon, we have 14 players at 2 tables and are starting with 2,000 chips each.
10x5
10x25
7x100
2x500

I'm hoping to have the tournament last for about 4 hours, going a bit over would be okay too as I expect the final few players to likely chop up the prize money. So far this is my blind structure idea. 15 minute levels, 10 minute breaks, no antes.
5/10 50/100 300/600
10/20 75/150 400/800
15/30 100/200 500/1000
20/40 150/300 600/1200
30/60 200/400 800/1600
40/80 250/500 1000/2000
BREAK, color up 5s BREAK, color up 25s 1500/3000

I'd love some feedback on this structure, if it seems standard for this kind of tournament. My main question is would it be better to do 20 minute levels with steeper blind increases instead of the 15 minute structure I have now? Also, if anyone has ideas for a more optimal starting stack I would be open to changing that as well. I have 200x5s, 200x25s, 200x100s and 100x500s in my chip set.

Starting stacks are great since you can expand up to 20 players with them.

A bit of a change to your blind structure since you have a 2x jump between levels 1 and 2, though it's mostly really good. If you do go for this, I would give each player T3K (just add 2x T500 to each stack). All jumps are 33-50% except the jump between level 5 and 6, which means it is just a bit more consistent than your schedule. It is also expected to end around 4:20 while yours is expected to run a bit longer.

10/20
15/30
20/40
30/60
40/80
Break - Color Up T5s
50/100
75/150
100/200
150/300
Break - Color Up T25s
200/400
300/600
400/800
600/1200
800/1600
1100/2200 (Projected end for up to 14 players)
1500/3000 (Projected end for up to 20 players)

All that being said, your tournament is really playable, and if you're happy with your own structure then go for it, might only addresses more minor details.
